HERNANDO BEACH SOUTH UPDATES – December 2, 2024
The boat dock is repaired and can be used. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Meet and Greet. We are grateful for the comments
and suggestions for future events in Hernando Beach South.
The Holiday Golf Cart parade with be on December 8 th . We will meet by the boat ramp about
5:30 and proceed from there. If you do not have a golf cart, feel free to view the decorated
golf carts, share a Christmas Carol or an eggnog with the participants. Contact person will be
Fran Kostrowsky 813-316-5295. Please text if you have any questions.
The Christmas Boat parades will be on December 17 th and December 24 th . We will meet by the
VFW or in the canal north of Amberjack Dr. We will proceed to the canals in the South.
Contact person for December 17 th will be Fran Kostrowsky 813-316-5295 and contact person for
December 24 th will be Laurie Tegreene at 772-475-5448.
We will have a holiday decorating mailbox contest. Please vote from December 15 th through
December 21 st . You vote by placing a canned food item in a box in front of the decorated
mailbox. We will collect all of the canned goods and donate them to a local food pantry.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be December 19 th at 5:30 PM at the Coast Guard
Auxiliary building, 4340 Calienta St., Hernando Beach. All are invited.
After the holidays we will start plans for upcoming socials and Octoberfest 2025. Please look at the Bulletin Board near the boat ramp. Updates will be posted regularly.

Hernando Beach South is a fun place to live with a strong sense of community. Many residents get together throughout the year for music, food, and games held at each other's houses. These are self-funded and people usually bring a side dish. There is also an annual Community Garage Sale every Spring.
